K-Physis Structural 5 - The Eye - Stress, Posture & Learning
(formerly Eye - Stress, Posture & Learning)
This workshop takes you on a journey through the many different connections the Eyes and Vision have. Our eyes work daily, tirelessly, to allow us to respond to environmental stimuli.
The use of computers, tablets, smartphones, the increase in exposure to artificial light are all stress factors, typical of modern life, which can tire our eyes and cause the inefficiency of vision and the various functions related to it. In fact, the eyes deeply affect our posture, not only causing headaches and cervical tension, but also involving the whole back, pelvis, knees and even feet.
Furthermore, an imbalanced vision also plays a fundamental role in dyslexic problems and in the various forms of learning disabilities.
The aim of this class is, therefore, to give you all the tools to balance the eyes and vision. You will learn to work on the Oculocephaloogyria brain circuit, that connects the eyes and the extrinsic eye muscles, with the different brain areas and the vestibular system.
You will learn how to work on the Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex and also the relationship between vision and:
You will also learn how to balance the eyes and vision through:
With the information you will learn in this class you’ll be able to relieve visual stress, to balance postural and structural problems that originates from visual imbalances, and work on learning difficulties caused by visual distortions.
