K-Physis Gut-Brain 1
(formerly Integrative Neurogastroenterology 1)
K-Physis Gut-Brain 1 course has a broader point of view, and focuses on what's called, since several decades, "The Second Brain", integrating it with the information of the Energetic Physiology of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Wikipedia defines Neurogastroenterology as "the academic study of the Brain, the gut, and their interactions with relevance to the understanding and management of gastrointestinal motility and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Specifically, Neurogastroenterology focuses on the functions and malfunctions of the sympathetic, parasympathetic, and enteric divisions of the digestive tract".
As Marco teaches in his classes, it's impossible to study all the Brain functions and dysfunctions without taking into account also the GUT-BRAIN Axis.
How does the Gut interacts with the Brain? How relevant is the Gut for the higher functions of the Brain? Can the Gut's imbalances cause swinging moods? Or depression? Or Dislexia? Or brain fog?
You will learn how to work on the Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex and also the relationship between vision and:
We will talk a lot about the 4 different types of Dysbiosis, the alteration of the Gut's Microbiota, that can bring to toxins production due to intestinal fermentation and putrefaction. This can cause the Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or the Leaky Gut Syndrome, that are very common problems but can generate a wide number of symptoms. We will talk about the 8 Syndromes described by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that corresponds to the different forms of Dysbiosis, and we will identify how to balance them through acupressure points but also nutritional and emotional aspects.
A lot of time will be dedicated to the Microbiome, the collectivity of all the bacteria, viruses, yeast and parasites we host, and how fundamental is for many physiological functions.
In the Gut-Brain workshop you will learn many informations about how tightly are interconnected the Guts with the Immune System, with the Endocrine System and, of course, how are related to the perception and process of Emotions.
The students will also learn how to test and balance the Gut’s Energetic Physiology functions described by TCM and understand how many Organs/Meridians take part to the digestive process.
You will learn how to assess all this functions and to balance them with specific procedures.
This workshop is aimed to all those who wants to take a master class on:
